Cynthia Daniels, a Grammy-winning recording engineer and producer, has amassed a long list of famous clients: Beyoncé, Sarah Jessica Parker and Alec Baldwin, to name a few. But these days she is also immersed in a project that focuses not on boldface names but on promising, lesser-known ones. She recently started her own label, MonkMusic Records, whose debut album, "YoungBlood," is by an emerging East End rock band, InCircles.

On Friday, March 15, at 7 p.m., Ms. Daniels's career will enter a new realm with a party to launch MonkMusic Records, a new music label. "YoungBlood," a full-length album by the Long Island band InCircles, is the label's inaugural release, an in-house project that is likely to reach far beyond the studio walls within which it was created.

Cynthia Daniels, the record producer and sound engineer behind MonkMusic Studios in East Hampton, has a lot going on. She recently finished mixing the Broadway cast recording of The Mystery of Edwin Drood, she is completing work on the recorded accompaniment to Annie Reinking's dance piece A Light in the Dark, with music by Bruce Wolosoff, and her new record label is issuing its first release next week.

Grammy- winning engineer Cynthia Daniels added a sophisticated new 650 sq. ft. MonkMusic recording studio to her East Hampton home. 'Local' clients like Paul McCartney and Alec Baldwin required superb acoustics and elegant aesthetics. To meet these goals, Daniels called Walters-Storyk Design Group architect/ acoustician John Storyk and interior design partner Beth Walters.

The ambitious project by Architect Jon Storyk (of New York's Electric Lady Studios fame) is now complete, and world-class recording and mixing is now available on the East End of Long Island.
